Today, everyone pictured here is a marathoner.
Everyone pictured here completed 26.2 miles yesterday and a whole lot went on for each one of those miles for each one of those people.
I am so proud to have run with these guys, Brooke, Kirsten, Nicole, Tim, my husband.
I know you're looking for a race report and I promise there will be one. As soon as I get the courage to write it.
I had a rough race and I'm in agony in my mind over it. But for now I'm trying to look at all the good, the people I ran with, the great time we had before and after, and the cute little tutus (that turned out to be a Godsend.)
More later.
Thanks for all the wonderful encouraging tweets and comments on Facebook, I LOVE YOU.

I am so proud of you! You are a marathoner - nothing can ever take that away from you. Love you girl.
Yay! Congrats, can't wait for the full report.
Oh, Christie. (((hug))) I don't know how it all went down, but I'm proud of you too, and am in AWE of your finishing. And I do hope you'll write more about it, because I have the feeling that you have some important things to say.
I've never done 26.2 (don't know if I ever will, either), but I've still experienced some hard-for-me races. And sometimes finishing a hard race doesn't always feel triumphant; there can be a lot of mixed feelings.
Oh Christie, I so want to call you right now. I will email you later. ((hugs))
I love you girl, and all of us at the Sisterhood are so proud of you for finishing 26.2. WOW.

I'm hugging you for infinity. I love you, girl, so freakin much that I'm crying as I type this from my phone sitting in the boat thingie at Epcot. I am so proud of you and so thankful that you asked who wanted to join you for this adventure. You may not have had the race you wanted, but *you* are a marathoner. I'm so proud of you. There just aren't words to describe it. One day? We'll be goofy enough to do the Goofy. T and I are taking 2013.
You're my hero.
You are amazing, Christie. I know your race wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination but you did it!!!! And I am so proud of you.
I told D before he met you that you are my hero. I am in awe of what you push yourself to do and what you can do.
HUGS!
what an accomplishment! Doesn't matter how it looked, finishing is what it is all about...way to go!
you are incredible. and i'm with Roo - you are the epitome the kick ass chick i wanna be.
so glad i got to meet you and hug you for realz.
I so badly know how you might feel without really knowing what happened. The important thing is that you finished and it may not have been how you envisioned it, but regardless, you finished what you starte. I am so proud of you!
YOU are awesome, girl!! YOU are a marathoner!! Can't wait to hear the full report and don't worry about how it "feels" right now...Just know that you accomplished something that so few people in this country could even imagine!!
I'm pretty sure that your full race report is going to make me laugh, and cry, and wince for you. I wish the experience had been all you'd hoped it would be, but don't let the "should'ves" turn your head from the fact that YOU DID IT. And you did it despite whatever obstacles you had to overcome. Love you, girl! You inspire me to do so many things I never would have even thought possible!
As I've said over and over and over again...I'm SO proud of you and all that you've accomplished in the last year! You are a marathoner, my friend....and that IS amazing! I understand the agony of a race that goes NOTHING like how you had envisioned....continue to look for the good and look FORWARD! ((HUGS))
Christie - you are without a doubt a true inspiration! I love you! I can't wait to meet you IRL! Maybe I'll get he nerve (& $$) up to do the Goofy with you & Kirsten in 2013! ;)
I have the nicest friends ever. I love you guys.
