(Ps. Does all of this count as calorie burning? I sure hope so.)
I wrote about my crazy 16 mile run on Sunday (in which there was crying) and of which just so happened to coincide with the challenge of racking up the miles at the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans, so coupled with my 6 mile run on Thursday, I ran 22.5 miles last week (.5 of warmup). Hurrah!
Also I weighed in this morning at exactly the same as last week, 131.5.
I know. I'm not making much progress on this challenge.
But I'm literally just focused on getting through the workouts, the next long one is a 50 mile bike/10 mile run on Sunday and it has me scared.
Scared because I haven't a clue how I will fit it in with all the stuff going on this weekend and scared because UM, IT'S A 50 MILE RIDE AND A 10 MILE RUN. (Remind me again, who does this?!)
But I've gotten through these crazy things before. It ain't pretty usually. But it gets done. I am sure it will be my Mantra Monday focus next week and I'm sure I won't be able to refrain from posting about it.
I hope everyone has an awesome week! Off to finish painting! By this time tomorrow, I'll even have a working toilet in there!

Hi there! I haven't been by in a while... took me a minute to catch up and looks like your working hard as usual! I can't believe you ran 16 miles!!! You go girl. You made me wonder if I could run 16 miles. I run 3 everyday or at least 5 days a week. and I think you just inspired me to dig a little deeper, run a little farther, and maybe even try to join in on some up coming challenges to get my butt motivated. The reason I have not been around is because, as you know, I have a two year old and with a husband that works long hours and with working myself... not much time is left for fun stuff like surfing the internet or catching up on blogging (and yes... that is fun stuff now!). So anyway, great job and keep it up!
Way to go on the miles!
Your bricks scare me and I don't have any idea of how hard they actually are. There may be tears and pain, but you'll do it. You'll first SHUT UP and BIKE and then you'll SHUT UP and RUN. Because you're awesome like that.

I know you've heard this before BUT it's worth repeating....progress is not only measured by what the scale says!!! I understand the goal of the challenge is weight loss, but look at you...you ran 22.5 in ONE week! I'd say that's progress! Despite what the scale is telling you....how are clothes fitting and how are you feeling emotionally and physically (but you can't count the pain involved with your *16* mile run)? Um, just something to consider. ::wink::
Be sure to post before/after pics of the bathroom. Those of you who take on such huge DIY projects are inspiring.
that's an incredible challenge - but you're pretty darn incredible yourself so i'm sure you are up to it.
