One played. (Hurrah! Breakthrough!)
The other did, sometimes.
Sort of.
But it did look promising at first.
And then we got distracted. But that's ok. No pressure.
Cool and calm. That's how we like things.
Then the horn blew and one scored a goal!! HURRAH!!!
But that's one picture I didn't get.
(INSERT PICTURE OF CHILD SCORING GOAL HERE. OR SUBSTITUTE FOR PICTURE OF TERRIBLE MOTHER FOR NOT GETTING A PICTURE OF SAID SCORED GOAL.)
But I did get a picture of him going REALLYREALLYREALLYFAST.
Just kidding. It's just a blurry picture. But he does look like he's going really fast doesn't he? Sort of? No?
Anyway, I may not have gotten him scoring the goal, but I did get a picture of someone playing in the goal. (Does that count?)
And then running to the other end of the earth. Perhaps why mommy did not get picture of aforementioned goal.
And on the way back, getting distracted.
And then sidetracked.
And distracted again.
And then there was some full on two-year-old exertion!!!
But that gets tiring pretty quickly.
So we must fuel up for more of this.
But in the end, no crying. By anyone. And no crying is a really really good thing. (See previous tiny soccer post.)
There was just tiny hugging.
Not at all prompted by mommy. Really. I swear.
OK maybe a little. But still. Tiny hugging is always cute.
So in sum, some playing, some not, some goal scoring, some not, tiny hugging and Kool-Aid mustaches.
Isn't that what tiny soccer's all about anyway?

Love it!! Great pictures! and your kids are adorable!!
Oh my goodness, only those who have lived through it can testify to how true this post is...
When Emma played, it was all about the snack. And running around the ball...never actually to the ball.
Too cute! Love your captions and commentary. We did tiny gymnastics with our son, and boy, it sounded a lot like tiny soccer!
Is it really called Tiny soccer? Here its called Mini which is the same variation thereof but usually pretty amusing to be a spectator at!
And yes, here its all about the snack too! (I detest the snack and cheer for the day that it is no longer)
