Shrinkvivor: Don't Look at My Grout

Shrinkvivor Challenge at the Sisterhood!Hi, yes, can I have a 64 ounce bottle of water, actually, make that two 64 ounce bottles of water, and some Gas-X please?

Thankssomuch.

I worked out like a fiend since last Wednesday, ran, biked, swam, biked, ran, swam, biked, ran, ran and ran again, I have managed to do minimal birthday party celebration damage and have only managed to lose 1/2 a pound although if you handed me a Sam's Club box of GasX and a couple a jugs of water, I might all of a sudden become less bloated and it would miraculously be more.

You're welcome.

I know what's coming. And I don't have to tell you what it is. But it's why I've only managed to lose 1/2 a pound this week and my midsection is screaming.

(Don't look at my grout, I said!)

So, in sum, minus 1/2 pound for the Shrinkvivor Challenge at the Sisterhood and it didn't matter how many times I stepped on the scale, stepped off and tried again later, this is what it was. There was no changing that scale's mind. I'm ok with this.

So I'm just hanging out over here staying the course and hoping not to get voted off to Exile Island! How did you do?

1/2 a pound is still a loss girl... but I totally feel you on this one.

You lost! That is all that matters. And personally, I'm not voting anyone off. Just rolling with the numbers.

What did you say? Oh I'm sorry. I was looking at your grout. ;)

You lost, hooker! And you worked your ass off. The bloat will be gone next week. No worries!

HOLY HELL the grout! HAHAHAHAHAHA just kidding, skank. It's not bad at all, or maybe it's that mine's worse?!!! I'd take yours anyday!

Great job on the loss. I think you and I know how hard it is to lose when we're training for a race(s). It's HARD. So hard. You need to celebrate the fact that you had a loss with all the activity you have going on. It's A LOT!

You're doing an amazing job. And you need to wait for me to catch up so we can go into the 120s together :P

You did FINE this week. Your post also made me feel better about getting on and off the scale, hoping I dropped 2 or 3 pounds 30 seconds ago.

Now, about that grout....

What grout??? I don't see any grout. Just a number on the scale that I hope to see sometime in the not too distant future! You did awesome with all you running and biking and chugging water...You ROCK!!

I'm with the others....a loss is a loss! And it IS hard to lose when you're training for a race. No doubt that you are adding lean muscle, which may I remind you, weighs more than FAT. ;-)

I won't look at your grout if you won't look at my 15-years-craptastic linoleum. :-)

Congrats on your awesome week!!!

A loss is a loss! Great job. I hate the boating thing... It sucks and can be so unpredictable!
