Disney Dreamworks Event Day One: Winnie the Pooh!

eyeore
This makes me laugh.
Today is going to be an amazing day.

Among the things we're doing is screening the new Winnie the Pooh movie, which looks so sweet I can hardly stand it. The movies that really reach me are the ones that maintain a childlike innocence and sweetness about it, yet still convey the same valuable messages that trancend generations.

In this movie, Pooh really needs him some honey and Eeyore has lost his tail, so the friends get together and have a contest to see who can find Eeyore's tail. The prize? Honey of course.

After the movie, we'll get to talk to the animators, character voices (including Tom Kenny -- the voice of Spongebob!) and get a tour of the Disney's Animation studios. Lots and lots of pictures and video to come!

Winnie the Pooh cake pops???!!
But for now, I'll leave you with some really cool stuff to do with the kids like these Winnie the Pooh cake pops! I've always wanted to know how to make cake pops! There are also some really cute crafts to do with them, too, with all the adorable Winnie the Pooh characters. Here is the link: http://media-file.net/2/wtp-family/#recipe, go check them out!

Yesterday I posted some adorable Cars 2 crafts and recipes including a Tow Mater Cookie over at 5 Minutes for Mom that I wish I had when I threw Aidan's Cars birthday party a couple of years ago. But they're awesome for a Cars party if you plan on throwing one now, so check it out!
